Our Dentist - Dr. Donald Johnson
Dr. Johnson was born and raised in northwest Montana on Flathead Lake. He went to college in Minnesota where met his wonderful wife. After graduation, he attended graduate school to pursue an advanced degree in mathematics. He and Jennie got married and they moved to California where he went to work as a radar systems engineer. Later, they moved to New Jersey where he worked as a computer systems engineer. They moved again, this time to Delaware where he began a career as a pension consultant. It was there that he decided to become a dentist, so they moved back to Minnesota where he graduated from the University of Minnesota School of Dentistry.
After graduating, he worked as an instructor at the University of Minnesota School of Dentistry and practiced dentistry in downtown Minneapolis. But his love for the Northwest brought them to Coeur d’Alene to open his practice and he has been at the corner of Government Way and Neider Avenue near Costco for over 37 years.
Recently, he founded the Northwest Treatment Center for Snoring and Sleep Apnea to help patients who snore and have obstructive sleep apnea. He also founded Heartfelt Headache Relief to help patients who have chronic headaches caused by unbalanced forces in the way their teeth come together.
When he is not treating patients, he and his wife of 48 years spend time golfing, skiing, hiking, boating, and traveling – especially to visit their three amazing daughters and their grandkids.
Above, Dr. and Mrs. Johnson are pictured celebrating their 47th anniversary.

My name is Lynda and I am a rancher’s daughter native to Rigby, Idaho. I met my husband, Greg (a Coeur d’ Alene Idaho native), at North Idaho College where we were both students. We have built a life together on our ranch, The Lazy SM, for 33 years, where we have raised 3 biologic children and now enjoy our 6 grandchildren. I have been in the dental field for over 20 years, first as a dental assistant and now I am very happy to be serving your dental, sleep, or headache needs as the office manager for Dr. Donald Johnson, DDS.
My name is Lou and I am native to Coeur d’ Alene Idaho where I graduated from Lake City High School. I live on The Lazy SM Ranch with my spouse and two children.
